The fR-Metal material uses similar controls and settings as the Standard 3ds Max materials do. This material is intended to simulate a standard Metal material. However, you may use your creativity to tweak this material, for whatever other material effect you may devise.
fR-Metal has a simple structure with an optimized number of settings in order to speed up the set up time required to achieve a "metal" effect. If you wish to produce clean physically accurate metallic objects, you may simply select this material and assign it to any metal objects in your scene, without making many modifications.
