2D Image Motion Blur
finalRender Stage-1 fully supports the 3ds max image motion blur effect
Beyond the physically correct and robust 3D Motion Blur that finalRender R3 provides, it also supports the standard 2D Motion Blur rendering effect within 3ds Max. In many scenes and situations, 2D Motion Blur effects can create believable imagery without any additional rendering time! This is especially true when working with complex raytraced objects where 2D Motion Blur can save you up to 1000% of your valuable render time as compared to a true, 3D Motion Blur calculation. Currently, finalRender R3 is the only rendering system for 3ds Max that fully supports the native 3ds Max Render Elements and layered G-Buffer channels. This includes the important Coverage and Velocity channels.
