The main focus of the company was- and has always been in offering optimized hard & software solutions for graphic intense applications. In those early days of computer technology, there was no way of getting the power to create 3D images on a standard PC. This is why cebas started out as a specialized company offering UNIX and RISC processor workstations. With the very first release of 3D STUDIO DOS R1 things changed dramatically. Nowadays, Windows and OS X is the preferred development platform for our 3D plug-ins. Several major 3D software packages are supported and all of our plug-ins are under constant development.
